Co-operative Learning

A type of co-operative learning is called ‘Jigsawing’, which promotes active learning between students within two groups:

1.  Home groups

2. Expert groups

This short video (under 2 minutes) demonstrates how to implement jigsawing in your classroom.  It is definitely worth a trial run and hands over the learning responsibilty to the students and provides a way for all of the class to be immersed in the learning process.
